Dalwood Estate Rose is made from a blend of Hunter grown Semillon and shiraz grapes. Although the 2019 vintage was warm and dry the Dalwood vineyard is cooled by the Hunter River. A fragrant Rose redolent of red berry fruit with a long savoury palate and a crisp refreshing finish.
Dalwood Estate Shiraz is from the rich red soils of the Hunter Valley. The 2017 vintage was warm and dry with low yielding and concentrated fruit picked in early February. Deeply coloured with red fruits and spice followed by a seamless palate with well integrated oak.
The savoury and smooth Tempranillo is complimented by the spicy fruit and structure of Graciano. The resultant wine has greater intensity, depth and length.
Dalwood Estate Chardonnay grows in sandy loam soil on the south bank of the Hunter River. The 2018 vintage was warm and dry. The fruit was hand picked in early February and is exotic with ripe flavours of peach and melon, and a creamy palate with well integrated oak.
Dalwood Estate Semillon grows in sandy loam soil on the south bank of the Hunter River. The 2018 vintage was warm, dry and low yielding. The fruit was hand picked in mid January and is fragrant with lemongrass aromas and a pure and elegant palate.
The palate is in the Hunter Valley medium bodied style and does not disappoint with lashings of juicy cherry fruit integrated with fine tannins throughout the palate and a fresh lingering acidity. The wine is combination of flavour, softness and lightness.
