2008 Cabernet Sauvignon

A taut youthful package just waiting to explode on the palate with a profusion of blackcurrant, plums and licorice. Maturity gained through careful cellaring will spark the explosion.

Definitely one to put down. Fresh acidity and firm, fine tannins will ensure a long life.  Alc./Vol. 14.7%.

2010 Fringe Shiraz Classic Blend

The bouquet displays dark fruit over vanillin oak. The full-bodied palate of rich, ripe shiraz is enveloped in fine tannins. The intensity of the fruit and judicious maturation in American oak barriques tends to mask the level of alcohol.

2012 Shiraz

Plums and a gentle hint of spice on the nose lead on to a palate rich with cherries and ripe fruit. Smooth, soft tannins complement and carry the fruit, allowing this 100% estate-grown shiraz to show a finesse and depth usually found in older wines. The wine completed over 18 months' maturation in French and American oak barriques. Approachable now, this shiraz will develop in complexity and reveal hidden nuances with five to ten years of careful cellaring. Alc./Vol. 14.0%

2013 Fringe Cabernet Sauvignon

This cabernet, sourced from neighbouring vineyards to the west and south of us, displays cool climate spice and floral notes.

The palate shows sweet berry fruit characters which are well married to savoury oak. Mouth-coating tannins and good acid balance give length to this elegant, medium-bodied wine.

2015 Merlot

The flavour of sweet dark plums marries here with an earthy savouriness to produce a round, full-bodied wine with gentle tannins.

Matured for 19 months in French oak, this merlot stands proud as a straight varietal wine, well-structured and brimming with flavour. Alc./Vol. 13.6%.

2015 Sauvignon Blanc

Ripe tropical fruit on the nose is given a spicy complexity and creamy, round texture on the palate through barrel fermentation in French oak.

Pineapple and hints of gooseberry linger with fresh acidity, and lead to a dry finish.  Alc./Vol. 13.0%.

2017 Nebbiolo

The classic firm nebbiolo tannins are here, and are superbly balanced by ripe red fruit. Violets and toast on the nose lead on to a soft, round palate of dried cherries with a smoky undercurrent, finishing on a savoury note.

Definitely a food wine -- match it with a wild mushroom risotto.  Alc./Vol. 13.4%.
