Brinktop “Killara” Pinot Noir 2017

The “Killara” is the premium Pinot Noir in the Brinktop range, made from grapes grown on 30 year old vines in the Coal River Valley, Tasmania.  The excellent quality of the fruit used shows in this wine. Structure, depth and a silky smooth mouth feel are complimented with layers of flavour. Red berry fruits are pronounced and followed with mushroom and spice.  The wine was made using partial wild ferment, some whole bunch and matured in French oak (75% new) for 16 months.
